Quake in Iran

On August 2, current year, at 14:15 local time, (at 10:15 by Grinvich), a magnitude 3.8 earthquake was registered by the RA MES Seismic Protection Survey Seismological Network.

The geographical coordinates of the epicenter are north width 38.560 and east length 46.670 (Islamic Republic of Iran).

The hypocenter of the seismic activity was 10 kilometers beneath the surface.

The tremor measured magnitude 5 at the epicenter area.

The quake was felt in the city of Meghri with 2- 3 points.
