Occupied area - 300 ha
Departmental subordination – the Ministry of Education and Science of Armenia

Managing organization - «A.I. Alikhanian National Scientific Laboratory» (Yerevan Physics Institute) Fund

Location – Central Armenia, Aragatsotn Marz, southern slope of the Mount Aragats with adjacent alpine meadows. 3200-3350 m above sea level

Protected object - “Kare” (Stone) Lake and surrounding alpine meadows
