Category. Endangered species. The extent of occurrence is less than 5000 km2, the area of occupancy is less than 500 km2. The species is on the verge of extinction caused by anthropogenic factor. It was not included in the first edition of the Red Data Book of Armenia. It is not included in the Annexes of CITES and that of the Bern Convention.

Description. Biennial plant 30–40 cm. Leaves narrowly linear, smooth–edged, covered with 2–3–partite hairs. Flowers yellow, 7–8 mm long. Siliqua patent from the inflorescence axis, regularly tetragonous, covered with 3–5–partite hairs.

Distribution. In Armneia it occurs in Aparan (Arayi Mountain), Gegham (surroundings of Zar and Qyanqyan villages) and Yerevan (Elar, Arzni, Kanaker, Djraber) floristic regions. EOO is km2, AOO is 24 km2, the number of locations is 3. The general area of distribution includes Nakhichevan and Anatolia.

Ecological, biological and phytocoenological peculiarities. Grows in middle mountain belt, at the altitudes of 1000–1900 meters above sea level, on dry stony slopes, in steppes. Flowering from May to June, fruiting from June to July.

Limiting factors. Loss/degradation of habitats caused by the expansion of settlements and intensity of agricultural activities.

Conservation actions. No conservation actions. Necessary: monitoring of the population state.
